Let’s talk road closures…..

The Super Bowl Host Committee has some AMAZING resources for locals and those traveling to Houston on how to get around. They have this amazing map that shows you what roads will be closed.

Recommended Driving Routes:

“Drivers are encouraged to park on the West side of downtown Houston and shuttle or walk to Avenida Houston and Super Bowl LIVE presented by Verizon. Street closures may impact your commute on the East side of town. To ensure the easiest path into downtown we have provided preferred entrance routes to downtown from every direction. Please note that certain exits, streets, and parking areas may not be available during special events downtown.”

Link to Full Map/Resources HERE! I definitely recommend checking out the SBC Transportation Page if you plan on attending any of the events and driving into DT.

SHOPPING

I posted on Instagram a few days ago that I got to check out LAUNCH. If you are a local, I highly recommend checking it out prior to Super Bowl Festivities kicking off this weekend. Houston has some of THE MOST talented designers and artisans.

The NFL Store will also be located right outside of the George R. Brown and is FREE to enter. Get all of your Super Bowl Gear there!

Houston, let’s show these out-of-towners how to have a good time and why HOUSTON IS WORTH IT.

XOXO
