Sunday morning Ryan & I both sang at Fellowship. It was a great time. I was leading Revelation Song
During practice i shared this verse with the team:
“In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back. 7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle. 8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying:
“‘Holy, holy, holy
is the Lord God Almighty,’[b]
who was, and is, and is to come.”
9 Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:
11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
and have their being.”
I loved the thought that at the very moment we were singing and worshipping here on earth, in Heaven all those who are with God now at this very moment were bowed before him also singing.
In the busy-ness of life often times it is difficult at times to really sit before Gods “throne” and rest in his presence. I know i struggle with finding the time, but this weekend as i was preparing for worship, i just sat down on the floor with my Bible, a candle, and a glass of water (Oh so important) and worshipped the living God who created all things and by HIM all things have their being.
I LOVE Jesus because i can come to Him at any time. Even though i may not always honor him with my time or attention like i “should” His love for me never changes. And the same goes for you. No matter where you are in your walk with him, He is so enthralled by you. You were created for him and by him. Rest in his love today sweet thing!
