I have pretty much had my babies hospital bag packed since the beginning of my third trimester!
I am OBSESSED with all of his little clothes, his Three Hearts Paci Clip, and basically just everything related to him. As with my own bag, I tried not to go overboard. Our hospital pretty much provides everything we need for baby and momma so I did not need to bring diapers, wipes, etc. Check with your hospital, but most of them provide all of these things and so you really don’t need to over do it with the packing for baby.
First off, his bag. It is the cutest diaper bag and it is so spacious. I had seen these bags advertised all over the internet and so I was a little skeptical. The pricepoint is also super low at 35.00, but I was at Target and there was a mom with a baby (probably around 9 months old) and I asked her if she liked the bag and she RAVED about it. So I went home that day and ordered from Amazon!
His hospital door sign is just stunning and I love it so much. I wanted something beautiful and not too “babyish.” I found this one on Etsy from the sweetest girl in MS. You can visit her shop HERE.
His Three Hearts Apparel Pacifier Clip. Its all natural and BPA free. We found it at a farmers market and I fell in love. We also got him some teethers from the same Company and they are precious.
His coming home outfit. I didn’t want something elaborate. I wanted easy and comfortable. I also found this on Etsy.
I brought two extra swaddle blankets, two hats, two sets of gloves, and two zipper onesies for sleeping.
I also brought some slippers that his Grammy and Grampy gave him. I’ll probably put those on him for going home.
His bunny lovie from Caroline and Co., one of my favorite stores in my hometown. His Nana and Pop Pop gave this to him. Its super soft and sweet.
Not pictured: His Baby Book // Ziploc Baggy – We plan on putting his birth blanket in this so that way our doggies can smell it before he comes home. One of our parents will bring the baggie with the blanket home and let our dogs smell it when they are nice and calm. I feel like they already know him, but this will help them get used to their new family member. // Two size 0-3 Onesies just in case his newborn onesies dont fit.
We are so ready to hold our baby boy! I definitely have nerves about delivery but I know that I can do it. All of the pain, all of my UGLY stretch marks, all of the extra cellulite, it will all be worth it once I hold my little lovie.
